Donald Walter Jaeger, 87, of Janesville died October 22, 2014 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. He was born in Janesville on June 27, 1927, the son of Walter and Helen (Markins) Jaeger. A Janesville/Edgerton area resident most of his life, Donald was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Navy and was formerly employed by Wisconsin Security as a security guard.
Surviving are 2 children, Richard and Gloria, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, Lois (Robert) Altmann, Annette (Richard) Cahill, Dorothy (Robert) Suter, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 son, David, his parents, his former wife, Catherine and 2 sisters, Elaine Pierson and Ruth Jaeger.
Per Donald’s request, no services will be held. Private burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Donald’s name to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home assisted the family.
